diagrammá kài bêma

In ancient Greek “diagrammá kài bêma” means “a diagram and step”, where step represents a step forward in the evolution of human knowledge. It is believed that it was motto of the Pythagoreans.

Launched in 1972 and 1973, Pioneers 10 and 11 have covered hundreds of millions of kilometres, heading toward the edge of our solar system.
Travelling at 40 000 km per hour, until overtaken by speedier voyager 1, they were the farthest-venturing objects in space made by human.
Both spacecrafts were tracked with enormous accuracy. The one part in a trillion.
After taking into account all the known forces that can affect them, there was still a deviation from their predicted motion.
Both Pioneers were slowing down for about 13 000 km per year.
For last thirty years it is known as “Pioneer’s mystery”.
This movie is a rebus for its solution.
The implication is a new physics.
